SchooLinks is a complete set of tools to enable K-12 school districts to improve student performance and empower educators.

SchooLinks had Salesforce CPQ and needed a more robust billing tool than QuickBooks that would align with the Salesforce-based quoting system (CPQ). In moving to Salesforce Billing, SchooLinks wanted alignment across their quoting and billing systems to make invoicing customers and reporting on financials more accurate and efficient.

SchooLinks partnered with Thunder to implement Salesforce Billing and integrate Billing Invoices and Invoice Lines, Revenue schedules and Revenue Transactions into Quickbooks. The implementation leveraged the benefits of a quoting and billing system that utilize the same architecture including:

  • Aligned proration and partial periods
  • Revenue recognition reporting and consistency enhancements
  • Provides an on-platform snapshot of Account health and AR data to drive down churn
  • Enhanced customer facing documents that provide more details and prevent billing questions
