We recently sat down with Thunder Sr. Client Director, Adam Saslow, to learn a little more about our dedicated Amazon Connect expert. Here’s what he had to say!
Q. Adam, tell us a little bit about your role at Thunder.
Salesforce is expanding omni-channel integration, recognizing customers need more flexibility and want to keep their CCaaS platforms. Amazon Connect is looking to increase its market share of the $6B SMB CCaaS space via a Partner-led strategy. That’s where I come in – To help develop and build out our AWS Connect Practice with the goal of becoming THE “trusted” premier GO-TO Partner in the space!
Q. What made you want to join the Thundercats?
History really. I have a solid history with Carter, Yaron, Geoff and Ali. That history was built on trust, hard work, ups and downs. Through it all, we were able to accomplish really great things together. I’ve already met some really great people here at Thunder. Humbled and appreciative for the opportunity.
Q. You started your tech career at Salesforce 20 years ago with a key role in driving strategic, enterprise-wide CRM initiatives before moving on to work with some major partners in the ecosystem. How will that experience help you with your role at Thunder?
Having been on the ground floor of multiple start-ups as well as large companies like salesforce, – I am no stranger to digging in and helping build. I also think I am genuinely curious about meeting new people, learning all there is to know and developing lasting relationships. I think that matters in this business.
Q. From your LinkedIn profile we see a company journey to our very own CEO, Carter Wigell. You’ve clearly worked together in the past, did that impact your decision to join Thunder?
100%. Working with successful founders like Carter affords you the opportunity to be creative and think big. I may never be a founder but thinking big, I can do that.
Q. Working so hard… Why do you do it?
My family (and our dog Patch of course)! They’re my world and I am lucky for it. I also live in a pretty cool place that offers the freedom to surf and dive when I am not working or spending time with my family. I genuinely love being in the water.
Q. Last one! What are you most excited about in the near future for our rapidly growing company?
The Professional Services game is the ultimate team sport – and that’s what I dig about it. I love working with good people, earning trust and solving problems. I think that’s what I am most looking forward to as we look to expand our AWS Connect practice.
